    Hi everyone

Very recently I had the privelege to attend WIlfried Rappennecker workshop „Straight to the Point“ which I enjoyed very much.

I would like to ask a question regarding the focus area:

It is clear to me which area (besides hara diagnostic zone) to work when dealing with LU, HT, PC, ST, LV, GB, KD, BL where i know I can chose the focus area on the chest (for HT and PC) or Lower Hara for KD and BL etc the places where this energetic organs are at home

It is not so clear to me which area to choose when working with SP, LI and SI.

For Spleen is it good to focus on the left hypochondrium (as with ST), or is better to focus on diagnostic area around navel?

For SI, is the better place the hara diagnostic zone or more generally on the abdomen where the SI is anatomically?

And what about LI, hara diagnostic zone or Lower Hara/Lower Burner space?

I would appreciate your clarification on this question.

    Best regards

    Hi Nuno,
    Good to read from you!
In fact there is more than just one option when choosing a focus area. You can take any of the suggestions you make:
For Spleen you can choose either the diagnostic area around the navel or the left hypochondrium. It is up to you to decide which focus makes more sense to you in a treatment. Personally I tend to take the area around the navel. But this is not always so, and others may do it differently.
For small intestine you may also choose the diagnostic area(s) or the area in the lower hara in a semicircle below the navel. This is where Small interstine is also present in a physical sense. Of course the diagnostic areas are within the second choice.
Same with Large Intestine: You may choose the diagnostic area(s) or the area in the lower abdomen which is somewhat lateral to bladder / closer to the groin.
    Does this answer your question?
    With love, Wilfried
