Dear Teresa,

I can recomend to you the reader of the  Europ. Shiatsu Conference in Kiental in 2007.  You will find two artikels about Shiatsu and Cancer. One is from Patrizia Stefanini and the other is from Thea Bailey.

Thea Bailey has worked or may be still works in a Cancer Help Center and she also gives good links for more literature at the end of her artikel.

Pamela Ferguson has also published artikels about Shiatsu and Cancer.

I’m one of your shiatsu teachers and also a survivor of metastatic breast cancer.

Re the query about working with lung cancer… Work in the sitting position and make sure they are comfortable. Treatment procedures will vary according to age and prognosis. Email me with specific questions and relevant a details about the patient!!
